Gather Around The Table

Thanksgiving is a time when friends and family gather around the table to enjoy a feast.   This ritual of meeting around a table for a meal is not confined to this one holiday.  Here are a collection of some food being share around a table.

  1. Dear Greg,

So good to hear that you are still busy and that the x-rays were negative. Whenever you don't think you have enough to do you should look to see if you can take a course in svenska.

Were doing well in Norbeck, but sad to see that Richard Wik paved Enterprise Avenue where the Baptist church has been desecrated into a hunting lodge. Lori's husband Cody is leading pheasant hunters from MN today during a 40 mph wind....advantage pheasants.

Let's talk soon about December 8th this week.

    love dad and nancy

  2. If Bapa only could SEE the bottles of syrup. Don't you remember he was pretty much blind?

I am pretty sure that is your other grandparents. No name on the syrup photo.
I have so so baby great memories of Nana and Bapa. I try to tell your dad but I think he thinks I'm a story teller. Funny thing is, I remember each and every life changing, faith based. Caretaking, unconditional love from then both and how Nana pretty much raised me until we moved in 3rd grade.
Mom and I still went into SSP every Tues, Thurs, she Sat and some Sundays. I recall changing Stefnys diaper and emptying Bapas waste at the same time. I was 5 1/2? Good times.

If anyone ever wants to hear about the fun I had with Nana taking the city bus to Minneapolis to the IDS building. She was terrified of heights. Yet we went at least once a month while mom took care of Bapa. Gave him a little "grape juice with a kick." Haha. He would sleep so Nana corks rest. Lol

    Anyway, u love this blog.
