Although we grew up just a few miles from the Atlantic, our Midwestern roots make us more comfortable heading to the placid lakes of New England rather than heading to the beach. However there are plenty of times we would show off our beach bodies and dip our toes in the salt water. Below is a collection of photographs collected from beaches around the US.

For the first photo, I'm wondering if that is 1973 and the trip to the Thornton place on the Cape right after I was born. If it's 1975, then I'm wondering if I had been left at the grocery store again?

ReplyDeleteI have no pics of myself growing up. I was the 6th kid. Dick and Jane were burnt out on Lynn's 15 photo albums, just from her first 14 years. Haha . I get that. But I have so many memories but no pics to back it up.
